Inspired by the tech savvy work style of Temple Schneider, Brazil fashioned a new avenue of communication between consumers and real estate agents. By using a simple zip code search, or clicking a place on the U.S. map, a home shopper can locate, and instantly open an anonymous dialogue window with a local agent online - in real time.
After a conversation with Temple regarding her locomotive success in meeting home buyers and sellers online, Brazil asked himself; "If the public is online looking for information – why aren’t agents reachable online at the same time?" Ms. Schneider uses the Internet as a speedy way to connect with new home shoppers and give them what they want – fast answers, free information and professional service.
American Agent Online works similar to an instant message (IM) program. “It’s sort of like jumping on Instant Messenger to have a quick conversation before dinner’s ready – fast and easy,” said Ms. Schneider, Realtor and now the Vice President of American Agent Online Corp.

The above statistics reflect an imbalance between the public’s desire for immediate information, and the agents average response time to the public. “Many agents feel that if they have a website, they’re online. But, are they really available to people? We found a better way to meet people’s expectations,” explained Brazil.
